Viv Lee

Chinese, b.1978

Born in Hong Kong, Viv Lee lives and works in Glasgow. Graduating from The Glasgow School of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in sculpture, Lee works with terracotta and stoneware clays to create ceramics with a focus on hand-built sculptural vessels. Inspired by the beautiful irregularity of nature and the human form, her work explores the materiality of clay and the metaphor of body as sacred vessel.
